Asphalt and gravel roofing
This multilayer roofing system, consisting of a membrane of several thicknesses of saturated felt, is loaded with liquid asphalt between each layer. The last layer is covered with gravel to protect the asphalt from the sun’s rays. Asphalt and gravel are an economical solution for multi-dwelling buildings, where you must work around several accessories. White gravel is available in urban areas to reduce hot spots*.
- Economical on small and large surfaces;
- Requires minimal maintenance;
- Resistant to fire through the roof;
- Available in white*;
- Service life up to 25 years.
*Available in white: A white roof is a cost-effective as well as ecological advantage in the long term. It does not overheat when exposed to the sun, which prevents premature membrane deterioration. The white coating reflects the sun's rays rather than absorb them. This helps reduce urban hot spots. A white roof can therefore reduce air conditioning costs. A white roof is used with TPO, elastomer, and asphalt and gravel.
